The publicly elected El Camino Healthcare District (ECHD) Board of Directors holds regular meetings, five times annually on the third Tuesday of the month as noted below. Meetings beginning at 5:30 p.m. unless noted otherwise. Additional special meetings are announced on this website.

Healthcare District and El Camino Health Award $11.15 Million in Grants to Support Area Health Initiatives
The El Camino Healthcare District and El Camino Health announced that the two organizations have allocated $11.15 million in grants and sponsorships to support local health programs and initiatives in fiscal year 2025.

El Camino Healthcare District (ECHD) Board of Directors Biographies
The ECHD Board of Directors is composed of five publicly elected or appointed representatives. As a group, these representatives oversee the assets of the ECHD, including El Camino Hospital. The five District Board members also currently serve on the ten member governing board of El Camino Hospital, which manages El Camino Hospital operations.

Grant Program
El Camino Healthcare District offers grants and sponsorships to organizations that address specific health needs in our community.
Each year, El Camino Healthcare District commits resources for community health promotion and disease prevention, particularly to support community members when they experience vulnerability and health challenges. Through our Community Benefit Program, grants and sponsorships are awarded to programs that meet specific health needs and serve individuals who live, work, or go to school in the District.
