Our Most Important Work
Each year, the Community Benefit Program of the El Camino Healthcare District provides program grants to nonprofits and public organizations that serve the residents of our area. These grants are funded by property owners who reside in the district.
Each year, we award nearly $8 million in grants to organizations that help create healthier populations and support health equity for community members in Campbell, Cupertino, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Los Gatos, Mountain View, San Jose, Santa Clara, Saratoga and Sunnyvale.

District Board Members
Residents within the El Camino Healthcare District elect five board members who are responsible for disbursing Community Benefit grants to organizations that promote health and well-being. District board members hold public meetings supporting community health through its extensive Community Benefit program.
In addition, this five-member board appoints five additional community leaders and together these 10 individuals form the El Camino Health Board, which governs El Camino Health.
